Management of the Land 

We aim to maintain the land as a natural wildlife site, which is part of the wider Loose conservation area.

The Land Management Committee meets once a month to monitor the current conditions and to determine the plans needed.

To complete the work required, there are monthly work parties in the valley on the third Sunday of every month, and new volunteers are always welcome. 

Please wear sensible shoes and bring gloves. We meet at the LAA shed in Brooks Field (Kirkdale entrance) at 9.30am for a 10am start. Refreshments are provided.
