What we do

We maintain 21 acres of the Loose Valley

We maintain a small piece of ancient woodland known as Mercers wood

We monitor and respond to planning applications

We liaise with Loose Parish Council

we have undertaken a number of projects including replacing sign posts, designing and placing the Queen’s bench in the cemetery, and installing posts to protect the open culvert on Old Loose Hill.

We organise community events such as the Loose Duck Race, open air music night, and carols around the tree

We have regular work parties 

We have regular committee meetings

Everything we do is achieved with the help of our members and volunteers, f making sure we comply with the requirements of a registered charity…and lots of other areas required in running an active and progressive association.
